A friend recently asked me, “what do you do?”

I responded: 

I help people improve their health and I help people make money; I can’t help people make money unless they are also willing to improve their health.”

Over many years and hundreds of conversations with people about their lives and where they are feeling fulfilled & free, versus not, two areas that almost always come up are health and finances.


I believe many people struggle in these areas for a few reasons:

Our parents do the best they can with what they know, but they weren't taught how to put their well-being first or create financial wellness, so they couldn't model it for us.

Our current school system doesn’t put a huge emphasis on either topic (health or money)

Both physical and financial wellness have a strong emotional/mental/spiritual component, yet most of our traditional + societal support systems (the medical or “healthcare” system and the financial services sector) focus solely on the physical aspect of these issues.

Our health and our finances are linked, but we treat them as separate (compartmentalized) parts of our life. How do I know they are linked?

Ask yourself: is my well-being affected by my finances?

Are my finances affected by my well-being?

I’ll bet the answer to both is a resounding YES.

Do you find yourself wishing you could book yourself into a spa, get a massage or acupuncture session, or splurge at the health food store and get ALL the superfoods? But you don’t do it because you just don’t have much extra cash lying around and you’ve got bills, yo? 

Or, have you had the experience of getting injured or sick and missing work, only to fall seriously behind on your finances? 

I’m sure you’ve heard the stories of the millionaire or billionaire who focused entirely on building their wealth only to fall ill and realize their health is truly their most important asset. And I’m sure you’ve also heard of the person who spends all their money to recuperate their health, perhaps finally achieving wellness but their finances are in ruin.

If we want to “be free” then we must learn how to create well-being on ALL levels,


Lots of healers focus on the Mind, Body, Spirit approach, but if the FINANCIAL RESOURCES aren’t present, healing will likely be impaired.  WHY? I’m sure you’re aware of the damaging impact of STRESS on your well-being….

What’s the biggest source of stress for most people? MONEY. 

SO, if you’re with me so far, the next question obviously becomes… 


That depends on YOU.

Step #1 of any journey is to make the DECISION to embark upon it.

If you are a YES to your well-being…

( your well-being is what will allow you to show up for yourself, for the people you love, for your work/purpose/mission/calling in this lifetime, for the planet and future generations)

then the most important next step is to take action to understand where you are starting from…
