Aimee Burton
Victoria, BC
Aimee grew up in small town BC and has spent most of her adult life on Vancouver Island. She has a varied background in hospitality, non-profit, and small business management. The theme of her life has been learning how to create freedom, on all levels but especially financial freedom, and then to teach what she learns to others.
She became a mama in 2020 and formalized her passion for teaching financial literacy by completing her financial broker’s license and starting her own team in 2021. Aimee also has a passion for human design, personal development, & business strategy and when she’s not helping clients she is happily camping, gardening, hiking, swimming, reading, or gliding down snowy slopes on her snowboard.
She is currently licensed in BC, AB, and Ontario.
Maya Prasasto
Vancouver, BC
Maya is a multifaceted individual with a past career as a footwear designer. Her time in the corporate environment has provided her a “big picture” approach to personal finance. She works directly with clients, regardless of their situation, to help improve financial literacy for students, women, young couples, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, small business owners, and other like-minded creatives. Maya’s biggest goal is to help individuals take power over their finances, since it can be one of the most unspoken stresses in someone’s life. Simply being aware can make such a huge difference! She deeply cares for the well-being of this generation, and believes that financial literacy is a key component of that.
Helping others is certainly her drive in life, but she is still a designer at heart. Maya is an avid sewist and designs custom bike gear under the brand Bawa Bike Bags in East Vancouver. She is a gardener, loves the outdoors, and has a (not-so-secret) passion for dance.
Maya is currently licensed in British Columbia and Ontario.
Heather Yamasaki
Victoria, BC
Heather was born and raised on the lower mainland where she resided till a move to Victoria in 2016. Heather has a background in hospitality and corporate management and felt called to the financial services industry late 2022 when she realized the gap in financial education being offered to young Canadians and decided to be part of the solution.
While not working Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, two young kids and crazy cat Apple Sauce.
Heather holds her license in British Columbia.
